1. Agreeing to these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Tampa Bay is Awesome ("Tampa Bay is Awesome," "we," "us," or "our") about your use of tampabayisawesome.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
2. Our content
Everything on the Site, including restaurant features, event listings, guides, and neighborhood info, is for general information and entertainment. We work hard to get it right, but restaurants change menus, hours, and prices; events get rescheduled or canceled; and businesses open and close. Please confirm details directly with the business or organizer before you go. Opinions in our content are our own.
3. Sponsored content and partnerships
Tampa Bay is Awesome is a business. Some of the restaurants, events, brands, and businesses we feature pay us, give us free food, products, or services, or have another business relationship with us. When there's a material connection like that, we disclose it, for example with "ad," "sponsored," "paid partnership," or a similar label, in line with the Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guidelines. Whether a post is sponsored or not, we only recommend places we genuinely believe in. Some links may also be affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy something, at no extra cost to you.
4. Real estate information
Real estate content on the Site, including neighborhood guides, home price figures, and market trends, is general information, not professional real estate, legal, tax, financial, or investment advice. Market figures come from third-party sources and may change or be inaccurate. Talk with a licensed professional before making any real estate decision.
Joe "Mr. Tampa Bay" Malinowski is a licensed Florida real estate agent. Real estate brokerage services are provided by Banyan Residential Group, a licensed Florida real estate brokerage in St. Petersburg, FL (Broker: Bennett Andrews). Tampa Bay is Awesome is a media company, not a real estate brokerage. Submitting an inquiry does not create an agent or brokerage relationship; any such relationship requires a separate written agreement. Promotions are subject to their own terms. Equal Housing Opportunity.

8. Third-party links and services
The Site links to and embeds content from other websites and services, such as restaurant and event pages, ticketing sites, Instagram, and maps. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, products, prices, or privacy practices. Any purchase or reservation you make is between you and that business.
9. Copyright complaints

11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Tampa Bay is Awesome and its owners, team members, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or its content, or from any business, event, or service you learn about through it. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Some places don't allow certain limits, so some of these may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold harmless Tampa Bay is Awesome and its owners and team members from claims, losses, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, your Submissions, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute related to the Site or these Terms will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
14. General
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a new version and changing the "Last updated" date; continuing to use the Site means you accept the changes. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision isn't a waiver of it. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site. Separate written agreements, such as partnership or promotion contracts, govern those relationships.
