Oktoberfest Tampa Bay 2026: 6 Big Parties Still Ahead

Think you missed Oktoberfest Tampa Bay season? Nope. Dunedin Brewery's 26th Oktobeerfest and Piertoberfest at the St. Pete Pier already came and went, and Hurricane Isaias just bumped the biggest party in town to Halloween weekend. But there's still a full month of steins, brats, and oompah left on the calendar. Here are the six biggest ones still ahead, all in Hillsborough and Pinellas.

Heads up: Isaias is expected to bring rain to the bay area this weekend. If you're eyeing a Friday or Saturday (Oct. 9–10) event, check its page or socials before you head out.

Your Oktoberfest Tampa Bay calendar

  • Oct. 9–10: Oktoberfest Pinellas at the German-American Society, Pinellas Park
  • Oct. 10: Oktoberfest on the Beach, Indian Rocks Beach
  • Oct. 10: BarrieHaus Beer Co. Oktoberfest, Ybor City
  • Oct. 16–18: Upper Tampa Bay Oktoberfest at Tampa Bay Downs
  • Oct. 17: Yuengling Oktoberfest, Tampa
  • Oct. 30–Nov. 1: Oktoberfest Tampa at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park

1. Oktoberfest Tampa — Downtown Tampa (Hillsborough)

The big one. Organizers call it Tampa's largest Oktoberfest, and this is its 17th year on the riverfront. Originally set for this weekend, it's now Oct. 30–Nov. 1 because of Isaias, and tickets bought for the old dates still count.

Expect a ceremonial keg tapping on Friday, stein hoisting, a mustache competition, games, and plenty of dancing. Hours are 4–11 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m.–11 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Sunday. Pro tip: get there before noon on Saturday if you want a table. And yes, Saturday is Halloween, so the lederhosen basically count as a costume.

📍 Where: Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, 600 N. Ashley Dr., Tampa — Hillsborough County

2. Upper Tampa Bay Oktoberfest — Tampa Bay Downs (Hillsborough)

The Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce takes over the racetrack just outside Oldsmar Friday through Sunday, Oct. 16–18, with beer, live music, and festival food. Past years have brought stein-holding contests and carnival rides, so it's a solid pick if you're bringing the whole crew. Check the chamber's ticket page for this year's hours and pricing.

📍 Where: Tampa Bay Downs, 11225 Race Track Rd., Tampa — Hillsborough County

3. Oktoberfest Pinellas — German-American Society (Pinellas)

If you want the real-deal version, this is it. The German-American Society's Oktoberfest wraps its three-weekend run Friday, Oct. 9 (5–10 p.m.) and Saturday, Oct. 10 (noon–10 p.m.). Think imported German beer, German food made in-house, folk dancing, a keg tapping with a parade of flags, and the stein-holding contest.

Admission is $12, and kids 12 and under plus active-duty military with ID get in free. On-site parking is tight, so rideshare is your friend.

4. Oktoberfest on the Beach — Indian Rocks Beach (Pinellas)

Oktoberfest with a Gulf breeze, and it's free. Kolb Park turns into a beer garden Saturday, Oct. 10, from noon to 7 p.m. with live music, German beer, international food vendors, arts and crafts, kids' crafts, and face painting. Don't skip the keg-throwing and stein-carrying contests.

Bay Palm Boulevard closes for the party, so plan on street parking nearby.

5. Yuengling Oktoberfest — Tampa (Hillsborough)

America's oldest brewery throws its own Oktoberfest Saturday, Oct. 17, from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Yuengling Draft Haus & Kitchen, right next to the company's Tampa brewery. Check Yuengling Tampa's page for the lineup before you go.

6. BarrieHaus Beer Co. Oktoberfest — Ybor City (Hillsborough)

BarrieHaus brews German-style lagers, and its Family Tradition Vienna Lager won gold at the 2022 World Beer Cup, so yeah, they take this seriously. Its seventh annual Oktoberfest is Saturday, Oct. 10, with ticketed 21+ sessions (grab a single ticket or a table for six), games, traditional music, and the crowning of Mr. and Mrs. Oktoberfest.

Bottom line: Oktoberfest Tampa is the main event on Halloween weekend, but the German-American Society is the most authentic, and Indian Rocks Beach is the best free hang. Which one are you hitting first? 🍻👇
