We LOVE riding all around Tampa Bay. From Downtown Tampa to Downtown St. Pete, across the Causeway, up and down the coast, or mountain trails over in the Apollo Beach area, it is all a blast. Tampa Bay Bikes trails are awesome! 🙂
There are a bunch of other smaller shoot off trails you can find at the links below as well as other mountain trails around the state. The most awesome one is Croom, in Brooksville, truly an awesome ride and a park dedicated to great trails.
Let us know your favorites 🙂
Bayshore Blvd– Just a nice ride with a view <3
Clearwater Causeway– One of our favorites, then you can go South all the way to Pass-a-grille if you want. There is a bike lane and some shared lanes, but you can hit a few bridges.
Alafaya– Most people don’t realize we have some legitimate mountain bike trails but Alafaya and Balm Boyette will give you a run for your money.
Balm Boyette– Lots of hills, technical and a lot of fun.
Courtney Campbell Causeway– 8 miles, but you can cut into Safety Harbor and ride another 3 to the Safety Harbor Spa if you want to step it up
Davis Island– A nice 10ish mile addition to a Bayshore ride.
Pinellas Trail– Super excited for them to get the Pinellas 80 mile loop, hopefully 2018. The only downside is a lot of street crossing.
Tampa Riverwalk– Only 2.5 miles but a nice route to get to Bayshore.
Flatwoods– Not just a nice flat paved trail, there is about a 14 mile off road mountain bike trail. No hills, but nice and technical. Super fun ride and kid friendly.
Upper Tampa Bay Trail– Nice for a quick ride and a little connect to the Suncoast.
Suncoast Trail– Here is the mack daddy trail for the distance riders. 41.3 paved uninterrupted miles for you to fly!
