Looks like both Pinellas and Hillsborough County Commissions got it together and approved the $150,000 CrossBay Ferry subsidy! Nice work people 🙂
Starting in November we can enjoy a ride across the bay between Downtown St. Pete and Downtown Tampa. On the St Pete side the Pier District is under reconstruction, so the ferry will now dock near the Vinoy Marina.
This awesomeness will be running from November through April so plan your festivity exploration appropriately.
Prices are going to be less than lass time, now capping out at $8 ($10 previously) and there would be discounts for seniors, students, and active and retired military members. Children age 4 or younger will be able to ride for free.
Now it wouldn’t be a party if there wasn’t something for people to B%$#%@ about, lol. It seems the word on the street from commissioners and the Times is the lack of parking spots in St. Pete. We are on board with city director, Joe Zeoli- “We believe we do have good, sufficient parking.”
Just walk a few hundred feet, it is good for you 🙂
There were over 37,000 tickets sold last year, share with a friend and lets keep this thing growing!
