Chicken Kabob @ Istanblu

Chicken Kabob @ Istanblu

A taste of the east. I have seen a lot of talk about this place online recently and for good reason! Now we didn’t have a full meal, but the taster of kabob and hummus was great.

(Note: dont know what the deal is with that blue in the pic, rest assured it has nothing to do with the food! ;-p)

I enjoy checking out all types of cuisines and unique dishes so this is one place I am excited to come back to. Cool atmosphere and an assortment of stuff I have no idea how to make at home. (Yes, I am too lazy to look up the recipe)

The chicken had a just enough of that char grilled flavor and little of some other kind of seasoning I cannot put my finger on but it was great. The hummus was a nice consistency, not watery at all and went well with the chicken and pita bread. The garlic really came through nicely as well.
