Well worth the trip, absolutely amazing. We got there right around 11:45 and if you have been there for lunch before you know that this is right in the height of prime time. There are a few segments to the shop. The front area is more of a produce/grocery, there is a side room that is all wine and cheese, and the back is where the magic happens.
In the back of the store, which is the largest part, you have the bakery and deli. All different kinds of pastries, Italian meals, deli meats, and sandwiches. If you are a first timer don’t go there starving because you will want to eat everything!
I went with the traditional Italian Sub, this was a masterpiece. I wanted something a bit spicy too so I had them toss on some extra banana peppers. But, OMG the toasted bread and the Italian dressing drizzle, this was a “time for a nap” kind of sandwich.
I am going to go out and say this is the hands down best Italian deli in the area.
Drop what you are doing and go now!
